Anna Murray is an energetic and charismatic circus performer who excels in contortion handbalancing, but often finds herself onstage performing and supporting a wide range of acts. She has trained in many forms from a young age, including gymnastics, aerobics, trampolining, cheerleading and tumbling, dance, and at the age of 19, found circus. In pursuit of technical training, Anna began auditioning for a variety of dance and circus courses but only knew that she had truly found her calling after discovering she had gained entry to the National Institute of Circus Arts.
Initially training as a competitive artistic gymnast from 4 years old, Anna began dancing at the late age of 17. She quickly fell in love with the art form and threw herself into fulltime training at Conroy Performing Arts College in Brisbane in 2009.
Anna has worked in many areas of the performing arts and gymnastics industries, as a teacher, choreographer, trainer and performer. She holds a Diploma of Performing Arts and has just received her Bachelor of Circus Arts from NICA.
Anna is an experienced performer with a wide range of acts and characters in her repertoire and will bring a high level of professionalism to any occasion. Her adaptability and organizational skills makes working with her an easy and fun experience and you will be sure to want to book her again!
