Aerial Master Class

 

The DITA Master Class is for those who want a year-long course that covers everything they will need to be an elite stage aerialist. Class size is limited to 6 people to allow for very individualized training. You will not find a course like this offered anywhere else in the world.

 

This is an advanced mentoring and coaching program for professional performers and serious students who want to reach beyond their current abilities. This program will ultimately will help you to develop your own personal brand of performance overcome the challenges and find your point of difference in the industry.

 

Objective
 

The course is designed for those who are seeking to enhance their performances through a more intense interpretation of the apparatus and continue to evolve and improve their capabilities. The coaching focuses on reaching inside the performer to release their emotional core and ensure it is released to an audience by full expression of a story rather than an act.

 

We will explore
 

  • Building on your unique strengths so they become your own “signature”.
  • Intense mentoring, focused on your personal development objectives.
  • Understand the differences between an athlete’s and an artist’s mindset.
  • The varying approaches for circus and non circus event performance.
  • The foundation to build your career through a greater understanding of skills, technique, presentation and creativity within the professional environment.

 

Duration
 

  • This is a one year program.
  • Each session is for 2 hours.
  • There will be 104 hours tuition throughout the year.

 

Preparation
 

  • Some experience of one or more of gymnastics, dance, theatre, aerial and other athletic forms or performance.
  • Completion of the 3 day workshop prior to enrolment in the Master Class.
  • Complete the online questions and/ or
    seek consultation.
